Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and was contemplating a different direction she would take. Lennox began her career as musician with the group Dragons Playground. The group broke up before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. The singer was the primary voice of The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. As part of this group, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they will create the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox started working with Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. In both commercial terms and critically it was a huge hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is comprising four tracks that were improvised. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'll Let You Go... It is the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. They went on, during the 80s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs like Why, as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the 1995 studio album, features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and her compilation album include a number of songs.
